About The Position
Sentara Dedicated Care Center - Internal Medicine - Concierge Practice is seeking a full-time Patient Service Coordinator in Norfolk, VA. This unique practice offers smaller patient panels, allowing more time per patient and weekday office hours (no weekends). The role involves being the first point of contact and ambassador for concierge patients, utilizing sales skills for patient retention, and maintaining superior patient-provider relationships. Responsibilities include high-quality care coordination, ensuring patient needs are met and expectations exceeded, and balancing health-related and financial conversations to manage copays and membership fees. The practice emphasizes exceptional teamwork and a commitment to improving quality, efficiency, and service.
Requirements

- Healthcare experience (Required)
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers by providing "world class" service.
- Serve as the first point of contact/ambassador for concierge patients.
- Utilize sales skills to retain patients within the practice.
- Maintain superior patient-provider relationships with the highest quality of care coordination.
- Provide service that ensures patients' needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Continuously work to improve quality, efficiency, and service in all areas of practice.
- Balance health-related and financial conversations to keep copays and membership fees up to date.
