Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one year experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the goals and mission of Mercy Medical Center, including providing patients easy access to high quality care, service and value.
  • Uphold the mission, including confidentiality of all patient and financial information and treating all patients with dignity and compassion.
  • Perform all front desk operations under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director/Assistant Director.
  • Schedule patients.
  • Answer phones.
  • Scan medical records.
  • Triage patient phone calls for severity/importance.
  • Collect insurance information and verify benefits.
  • Perform charge entry and payment posting.
