The Patient Service Associate - Ortho will be responsible for answering all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments, handling each appropriately in accordance with NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols, including documenting in Epic telephone encounters. This role will utilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post-procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols. Additionally, the associate will obtain prior authorization for procedures, review provider templates, and provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager.
