About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Scheduling Specialist to be the first point of contact for UW Health patients and ensure they receive a remarkable experience. This role involves utilizing excellent customer service skills to schedule appointments via phone, in-person, or electronic correspondence. The specialist will make an impact on the patient experience by making it easier for patients to schedule appointments across multiple locations with just one phone call, assisting patients and their families with their appointment scheduling needs, making outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments, and coordinating with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

Requirements

No minimum education required.
1 year of previous experience working in an office or customer service environment required.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field Preferred
Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred
Previous experience scheduling patients Preferred
Previous experience coordinating multiple activities in an office setting Preferred
