About The Position

TEKsystems is looking to hire several Patient Schedulers for a large hospital in Indianapolis. The role involves 6 weeks of onsite training followed by a fully remote work arrangement. This position requires handling a high volume of incoming calls, scheduling appointments, adhering to policies, and communicating essential information to patients. Additionally, the role includes auditing and completing electronic documentation of patient and case information accurately and efficiently, often under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining quality. Effective communication with patients, peers, and superiors is crucial.

Requirements

High school diploma
2+ years of call center experience
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and patient manner
Ability to have in-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with members that can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature.
No jumpy tenures
Must be self-motivated and motivated to advance your career
Reliable transportation (for the initial onsite training period)

Responsibilities

Handle 60+ incoming calls daily.
Schedule appointments.
Follow and reinforce all policies for case scheduling.
Communicate information for each scheduled appointment.
Audit and complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.
Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, peers, and superiors on a daily basis.
