Patient Safety Companion
About The Position
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses or other medical professionals. The role primarily assists patients with activities of daily living, monitors vital signs, reports changes in patient condition, and helps maintain a safe and clean patient environment. Tasks may include taking patient histories, measuring and monitoring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor procedures. This is an entry-level individual-contributor support role. Work is routine, follows standard procedures, and is closely supervised. Problems are routine with clearly defined solutions, and communications generally require little explanation or interpretation.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- No experience required.
- No licensure required.
- Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull less than 20 pounds.
