Safety Companion
About The Position
The Safety Companion provides continuous, attentive observation of assigned patients to maintain their safety. The role also performs light patient care tasks, which may include repositioning, assisting with ambulation, bathing, feeding, and other activities of daily living. The Safety Companion documents relevant information in the patient record and communicates effectively with the care team to promote seamless, high-quality care. Responsibilities may vary based on departmental needs and the specific support required for patients of all age groups, contributing to each patient's comfort and well-being.
Requirements
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider - BLS certification within 90 days of onboarding.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1 year of work experience in a customer service industry.
