About The Position
This entry-level role provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses or other medical professionals. The position primarily assists patients with activities of daily living, monitors vital signs, and reports changes in patient condition. It also contributes to a safe and clean environment for patients. Tasks may include taking patient histories, measuring and monitoring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor procedures. This is an individual-contributor support role involving routine work performed under close supervision and according to standard procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- No licensure required.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and frequently bend or stoop.
- Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull less than 20 pounds.
