About The Position

Provide continuous direct observation and surveillance for assigned patients with known or suspected suicidal symptoms, or symptoms of emotional illness that a physician has determined put them at risk for suicide. The role also observes patients at high risk for falls and injury. The position is based at Baptist Health Resource Center and is regular full-time, working the first shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and basic safety, and principles of physical care and comfort.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Nice To Haves

• Medical terminology training preferred.
