PRN Patient Representative Front Desk
About The Position
Diagnostic Imaging Centers, P.A. is looking for a PRN Front Desk Representative who enjoys flexibility and variety in their schedule while helping support our clinics when additional coverage is needed. This role is perfect for someone who wants the freedom to pick up shifts that work for their schedule, while still being part of a friendly, supportive team environment. This PRN Float Role offers flexible PRN scheduling with shifts available between 6:30 AM –5:30 PM, optional Saturday shifts (7:30 AM – 12 PM), and the opportunity to pick up shifts at multiple clinics. You will work alongside different teams and supportive coworkers in an outpatient setting with no call and predictable clinic hours. This is a great option for those wanting extra hours or schedule flexibility. Float locations may include: Overland Park, Kansas City Kansas (KCK), Lee’s Summit, Plaza, North, Liberty and Independence clinics.
Requirements
- Professional, friendly communication both in person and on the phone
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Dependable and organized
- A team player who enjoys helping coworkers and patients alike
- Someone who takes pride in being the welcoming face of the clinic
- HS Diploma
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide patient cost estimates for imaging services
- Review orders for accuracy prior to appointments
- Contact ordering providers’ offices when order revisions are needed
- Welcome and register patients at the front desk
- Collect patient payments at the time of service
- Confirm upcoming appointments and review daily schedules
- Verify and review patient insurance information
- Help create a smooth, welcoming patient experience at each clinic
