About The Position

As a Patient Registration Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You'll handle patient registration, insurance eligibility verification, and cash collections while advocating for patient needs. Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility verification in a hospital or medical office setting.
EPIC training/experience and familiarity with insurance payor systems and ICD-10 medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures for patient registration, including face-to-face check-in and preregistration.
Confirm insurance eligibility and manage cash collections.
Update patient registration and insurance information accurately.
Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating on their behalf.
Provide efficient and effective customer relationship management, instilling loyalty and anticipating needs.
