About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to type 50 wpm, error free

Nice To Haves

• One year of medical office experience preferred
• Experience with computer and office equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Interacts and assists patients, the public and colleagues in fulfilling job responsibilities.
• Registers patients for multiple hospital services.
• Enters complete and accurate information.
• Complies with insurance requirements, including pre-certification and authorizations.
• Maintains confidentiality of patients, colleagues and visitors.
• Provides excellent customer service when assisting patients, colleagues and visitors.
