About The Position

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is seeking a High School Student Worker to join our supportive and hardworking team as a Patient Registration Clerk in the Admitting Department. This is a PRN/Contingent position for current high school students aged 16 and older. The pay rate is $16.66/hr with additional shift differential pay as applicable. Applicants must be currently enrolled high school students aged 16 or older. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future. Requirements

• Current High School Student aged 16+
• Friendly, welcoming personality
• Solid customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations
• Ability to multitask including speaking with patients and entering information into computer systems
• Ability to use computer, credit card machine, calculator, copy machines, and other office equipment
• Ability to stay focused and complete work in a fast-paced environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future
