About The Position

Fairview has an immediate opening for an Admissions Financial Representative at M Health Fairview North Branch Clinic. This position is approved for a 0.50 FTE, working 40 hours every two weeks. The schedule involves a mix of morning and evening shifts, including weekends. This position is responsible for completing the financial clearance process within patient access which includes scheduling and registration activities. Individuals in this role are expected to demonstrate behaviors that create a welcoming environment and deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and other customers. The Admission Financial Representative (AFR) must be able to articulate information in a manner that ensures patients, guarantors and family members have clear expectations and understand their financial responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of applicable computer knowledge and skills

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting with registration experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling and registration support for patients.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to patients, families and other customers through consistently demonstrating Fairview behaviors.
  • Manage daily worklists and resolve assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
