About The Position

Fairview has an immediate opening for an Admission Financial Representative at the M Health Fairview North Branch Clinic. This position is approved as a 0.7 FTE, working 56 hours every two weeks. The schedule is Monday: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, and Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. This position is responsible for completing the financial clearance process within patient access, which includes scheduling and registration activities. Individuals in this role are expected to demonstrate behaviors that create a welcoming environment and deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families, and other customers. The Admission Financial Representative (AFR) must be able to articulate information in a manner that ensures patients, guarantors, and family members have clear expectations and understand their financial responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of applicable computer knowledge and skills

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting with registration experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling and registration support for patients.
