About The Position

Fairview has an immediate opening for an Admission Financial Representative at the M Health Fairview North Branch Clinic. This position is approved as a 0.65 FTE, working 52 hours every two weeks. The schedule will be Monday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (every other week). Candidates must be able to work this combination of weekday daytime and evening hours, including alternating Friday evening shifts. This position is responsible for completing the financial clearance process within patient access which includes scheduling and registration activities. Individuals in this role are expected to demonstrate behaviors that create a welcoming environment and deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and other customers. The Admission Financial Representative (AFR) must be able to articulate information in a manner that ensures patients, guarantors and family members have clear expectations and understand their financial responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of applicable computer knowledge and skills

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting with registration experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling and registration support for patients.
