About The Position

Responsible for registering, scheduling and obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients to ensure payment from a third party payer. This is a full time-40 hour per week schedule of Monday through Friday with varied hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM) position located at 1756 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY and 1978 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY (locations depending on schedule) Overtime as needed. Travel will be required to both locations as well as for coverage to all Hudson Valley Medical group locations when needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of clerical experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• Must live within a commutable distance to NYP

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of health insurance benefits/requirements
• Knowledge of coding
• Bilingual- English and Spanish speaking candidate preferred
