About The Position
The Patient Observer displays a respectful, empathetic, and caring attitude toward patients and families while maintaining patient confidentiality. The role involves observing patients for signs, symptoms, or behavioral changes that require immediate attention from the RN and collaborating with the RN about relevant aspects of the care the observer is expected to perform.
Requirements
- Demonstrate the maturity to maintain confidentiality and behave professionally with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy.
- Excellent observation skills.
Responsibilities

- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Identify signs, symptoms, or behavioral changes that require the RN’s immediate attention.
- Collaborate with the RN about relevant aspects of the care the observer is expected to perform.
