About The Position

Responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery. The role communicates patient food issues, concerns, and needs to department team members, and interacts with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements. The representative responds accurately and effectively to changes to ensure efficient service timing and accuracy of physician-ordered modified diets.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Nice To Haves

Six months of previous food service experience in a hospital setting.
