We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services team within a 150-bed community hospital.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in food service or a related field OR a bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year of food service management experience, ideally in an acute care environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred
  • ServSafe® certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for a team of 20+ associates, including hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing development
  • Oversee daily operations of patient food services, ensuring alignment with clinical direction and patient population needs
  • Establish service goals and drive execution to deliver a high-quality patient dining experience
  • Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and modified diets, aligning with physician orders while accommodating patient preferences
  • Monitor and improve patient satisfaction scores, holding the team accountable to service standards
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including federal and state regulations, accrediting bodies, HIPAA, and patient rights policies
  • Participate in and lead initiatives related to patient satisfaction, departmental collaboration, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
