About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services team in an acute care setting. Requirements

  • Associate degree with at least one (1) year of experience in food service or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of one (1) year of food service management experience, preferably in an acute care environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records (EMR), and diet office systems
  • Strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered service.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred
  • ServSafe® certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient services operations, including tray line, tray delivery staff, patient experience, and service recovery (average census: 600)
  • Establish goals and manage the implementation of patient food service programs based on medical direction and patient population needs
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop patient services team members
  • Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions, special diets, and physician orders while maintaining patient satisfaction and preferences
  • Drive patient satisfaction by leading service initiatives and ensuring team alignment with performance goals
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, as well as HIPAA and patient rights policies
  • Participate in and/or lead patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
