The role may include obtaining authorizations, confirming orders, scheduling appointments, assisting with discharge functions, collecting payments, preparing daily deposits, and supporting referrals and patient requests. Duties vary by setting, including Memorial Physician Group specialty practices, hospitals, and Memorial Primary Care. For Physician Practices (MPG, MPC, and UCC), willingness to travel to other locations based on business needs is required; mileage reimbursement is provided. The position requires excellent communication and critical-thinking skills, decisive judgment, the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment, and the ability to collaborate and build relationships. It is primarily for office workers and is not eligible for shift differential.
