About The Position
The Patient Financial Navigator Support role performs assigned daily tasks within the Managed Care department. Work includes clinic accounts receivable reporting, calculating and reconciling clinic collection totals and percentages, assisting with Intake and Utilization Management duties, handling managed care approvals, and supporting Financial Aid.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting or business office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Procedure data-entry experience and familiarity with insurance requirements.
- Medical terminology and ICD and CPT coding experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily clinic accounts receivable (A/R) reports.
- Calculate and reconcile daily and monthly clinic collection totals and percentages.
- Assist with all aspects of Intake and Utilization Management duties.
- Handle all aspects of managed care approvals.
- Support Financial Aid.
