The role also entails reviewing patient bills, resolving issues or connecting patients with appropriate resources, taking pre-payments and payments towards payment plans, and setting up payment plans. Daily review of EPIC reports and work queues for financial follow-up, updating EPIC with flags, guarantor, registration, insurance, and billing indicators are also key duties. Adherence to contractual and accepted payer guidelines is essential to minimize reimbursement loss, denials, or delays, with analysis of denials to determine root causes when necessary. International patients will be reviewed, and pre-payments will be set up prior to treatment per MC Policy. This position will not consider candidates who require immigration sponsorship at this time or in the future.
