About The Position

Under supervision, performs secretarial duties, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinical, or laboratory procedures. This role is part of the Patient Registration/Access Care department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital and operates on a day shift with a 40-hour work week. The compensation range is $16.35 - $21.49 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills
• knowledge of Medical Terminology
• experience with scheduling

Nice To Haves

• Two years’ experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care.
• Current driver's license
