About The Position
Total Primary Care is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for their Primary Care practice. The company has built a growing network of over 50 clinics across Texas, focusing on men’s health, family care, and behavioral health, where patient care is proactive and valued. The ideal candidate will make everyone feel heard, cared for, and taken care of, thriving on helping people get the answers and appointments they need.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a patient coordinator and/or 1 year of related training or equivalent combination of experience
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and protocols
- Positive attitude and high attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Greet patients with warmth — on the phone and in person
- Schedule appointments, prior authorizations, insurance verifications and co-pays
- Assist with referrals, insurance verification, and patient follow-up
- Keep our front office running smoothly while keeping patients smiling
