About The Position

Schweiger is a leading dermatology practice with a significant national presence, seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for its Spring Street SoHo and Spring Street Uptown Offices. This role is crucial for executing front office duties and providing essential support to patients, providers, and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess teamwork experience, and have a flexible schedule, with opportunities available even for those with no prior healthcare experience but a strong interest in the field.

Requirements

• Computer savvy.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable, and a dedicated employee.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• No experience necessary but has an interest in healthcare.
• Teamwork experience.
• Detail oriented with a flexible schedule.
• Healthcare Experience is preferred.
• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all front office duties.
• Provide support to patients, providers, and support staff.
• Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads proficiently and efficiently.
• Create a positive phone call experience for each caller.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and providers.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
