Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to each of the Dental Health Centers' primary customer groups--patients desiring dental services and dental residents.
• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, checking-in patients, emergency intake and directing patient concerns to appropriate supervisor while maintaining courteous profession demeanor.
• Support providers by preparing visit sheets and patient charts for each day, contacting patients to make appointments.
• Maintain clinical schedule by imputing appointments, registering new patients, updating patient information and coordinating patient appointments with other appointments.
• Work with insurance office to verify insurance information is correct; calculates patient co-payments based on insurance coverage; assists providers with treatment plan estimates.
