About The Position

Schweiger is a leading dermatology practice with a significant national presence, offering medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology and allergy services. This role is for a Full-Time Patient Coordinator at the Centralia and Mt. Vernon Offices, responsible for executing all front office duties and providing support to patients, providers, and staff. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Requirements

• Previous healthcare experience is required.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all front office duties.
• Provide support to patients, providers, and support staff.
• Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads proficiently and efficiently.
• Create a positive phone call experience for each caller.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and providers.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
