About The Position

Schweiger is a leading dermatology practice with a significant national presence, dedicated to providing excellent patient care and fostering a positive work environment. We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for our Canandaigua Office. This role is crucial for executing all front office duties and providing essential support to patients, providers, and the rest of the support staff. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare experience and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous healthcare experience is required.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable and dedicated employee.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all front office duties.
• Provide support to patients, providers, and support staff.
• Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads proficiently and efficiently.
• Create a positive phone call experience for each caller.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and respective provider(s).
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
