About The Position

Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity, the Patient Care Technician delivers a variety of high-quality care and performs basic patient care that meets the needs and uniqueness of assigned patients. The role is responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence and adherence to the PH Standards of Behavior.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED. Candidates who are at least 17 years old and do not yet have a current diploma or GED must be actively working toward one and receive it within two years of hire.
• Obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work independently using critical-thinking skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working in a patient care setting; preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certification.
