Patient Care Technician - Med/Surg Full Time Nights -
About The Position
The Patient Care Technician provides care to patients, including drawing blood and taking vital signs. The technician accurately measures and records body temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; reports abnormal findings; helps put patients at ease; and supports the nursing team by observing and communicating patient needs. The role involves collaborating with nurses and putting patients first. This is a full-time night-shift position with rotating weekends and holidays. The schedule is five days per work week, with 7.5-hour shifts. The stated hourly salary range is $31.23–$33.08.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous direct patient care experience or applicable certification (Patient Care Technician, Nursing Attendant, or Medical Assistant).
- Current CPR training from the American Heart Association.
