About The Position

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care to patients and their significant others under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Care includes supporting patients’ dependency needs, such as nutrition, hygiene, and safety, as well as providing physical and psychological comfort measures. The technician performs job duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Florida CNA license.
• Nursing students must be currently enrolled in an ASN or BSN program and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing.
• Nursing students must submit an unofficial transcript with the application.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital PCT/CNA experience preferred.
