About The Position

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Care includes meeting patients’ dependency needs, such as nutrition, hygiene, and safety, as well as providing physical and psychological comfort measures to patients and their significant others. The technician is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Florida CNA license.
• For nursing students: current enrollment in an ASN or BSN nursing program and completion of Fundamentals of Nursing; an unofficial transcript must be submitted with the application.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital PCT/CNA experience.
