Additionally, the PCT monitors vital signs, recognizes emergencies, and prepares equipment. This position requires effective communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and professional growth. The PCT acts as a patient advocate, maintaining privacy and confidentiality, and must comply with all facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. They also participate in team meetings, training, and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
