About The Position

HCA HealthONE Swedish is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support Registered Nurses as part of a collaborative nursing team. The PCT provides hands-on, non-medicated patient care and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment. This includes assisting with vital signs, mobility, personal care, comfort, and patient monitoring while supporting care plans. The role contributes to patient comfort and dignity through attentive, empathetic teamwork.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• High school graduate or GED.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care, including dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
• Support Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care and monitoring.
