About The Position
The Patient Care Technician, under the direction of professional staff, assists with patient care and provides support to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. This is a PRN position with 24–40 hours listed. The position is at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, a 46-bed full-service acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility, or completion of a certified nursing assistant program, or completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program, or documentation of completion of the first semester of a nursing program, or documented military experience as a medic or corpsman, or graduation from a foreign nursing program without a current U.S. Registered Nurse license, or EMT certification/paramedic license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
