About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides support services in delivering care to operative patients. Duties include transportation, inventory, restocking, administrative support, cleaning, and assisting the Registered Nurse and patient in the Operating Room (OR).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, except for students who have completed nursing fundamentals courses and are actively enrolled in an LPN, ASN, ADN, or BSN program.
- Eligible nursing students must submit transcripts to the department manager at least twice per calendar year.
- Eligible nursing students must provide authorization to test (ATT-NCLEX RN or ATT-NCLEX PN), schedule the test, and pass it within 90 days of graduation from the nursing program, as applicable.
