CNA - Pediatric Patient Care Technician
About The Position
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support pediatric patients and families. The role combines basic nursing care, patient transportation, and clerical functions to support patient health outcomes and quality care. The technician develops age-appropriate care expertise, uses clerical and communication skills, and collaborates with healthcare practitioners and registered nurses. The position is 0.75 FTE, with an evening schedule of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. in 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. An eligible new hire with at least one year of CNA experience may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Be eligible for Medical Assistant-Registered certification and apply within seven days of hire.
- Obtain Medical Assistant-Registered certification within 60 days of hire.
- Hold Nursing Assistant certification or licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Recent bedside care experience in a healthcare environment.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least one year of CNA experience for eligibility for the sign-on bonus.
