About The Position

The Patient Care Technician supports patient health outcomes at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network by performing nursing care, patient transportation, and clerical functions. The role involves developing age-appropriate nursing care expertise, strengthening clerical and communication skills, and collaborating with healthcare practitioners and registered nurses to support patient care and services. The position serves pediatric patients and families across diverse ethnic and social groups in a compassionate, family-centered care environment. This is a 0.75 FTE evening position with 12-hour shifts from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and rotating weekends. An eligible new hire with at least one year of CNA experience may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. The compensation range is $23.61–$39.01 per hour, with pay influenced by experience, skills, certifications, and education.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
Current BLS Certification.
Recent bedside care experience in a healthcare environment.
Must be eligible for Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) certification, apply within seven days of hire, and obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
An MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R certification.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of CNA experience for eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.
