About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Patient Care Technologist/OR Technologist for Baptist Medical Center Downtown. This is a full-time position on day shifts, located in the Main OR at Baptist Downtown. The role supports nursing staff and the Operating Room Team with patient care activities, room preparation and turnover, transport, surgical preparation, and instrumentation sterilization.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with the delivery of patient care activities.
- Stock rooms and perform room turnovers.
- Transport specimens, patients, and equipment.
- Perform surgical patient shaves and preps.
- Hold retractors.
- Sterilize instrumentation.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed to meet the needs of the Operating Room Team.
