About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas West is seeking a Patient Care Technician for their Cardiac Decision Unit. This PRN position involves performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, aiding with patient movement and placement, assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, reporting findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff, documenting necessary records, and maintaining clean patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nurse Aide preferred.

Responsibilities
