Patient Care Technician - PRN - Days - Cardiac Telemetry
About The Position
The Patient Care Technician assists with patient care and provides support services to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. This is a PRN day-shift position on the Cardiac Telemetry unit. The technician collaborates with multidisciplinary team members in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment to provide excellent patient care. Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas. It is certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission and has received recognition for nursing excellence and workplace culture. The hospital provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care.
Requirements
- Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program; or have one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; or be a nursing student who has documented completion of the first semester of a nursing program; or have documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; or be a foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
