About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Patient Care Technician/CNA for its 28-bed Post-Partum Unit. The unit provides Family Centered Care and includes antepartum and gynecological surgery patients. The role is part time at .6 FTE, equivalent to 48 hours or two shifts per two-week pay period, working 12-hour day shifts. The position is part of the State-of-the-Art Childbirth Center, which includes labor and delivery, emergency obstetrics, the mother and baby unit, and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training.
Nursing Assistant-Certified (NA-C) credential.
Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) credential; Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure after hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

One year of recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact.
Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG.
Computer familiarity.
