About The Position
Join Hillcrest Medical Center as a day-shift, PRN Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Cardiac Interventional Unit in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This entry-level role provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff. The position includes assisting patients with daily activities, observing and reporting patient progress, obtaining and recording vital signs, collecting specimens for laboratory tests, transporting patients, and performing housekeeping duties. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in acute or long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities of daily living.
- Observe patients’ progress and prepare and disseminate reports to the Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
- Obtain and record patients’ vital signs.
- Collect specimens for laboratory tests.
- Provide basic patient transport.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
