About The Position
As a Patient Care Tech, you will be on the front line of care, anticipating and answering the needs of patients. This hands-on, personal care nursing role requires empathy, compassion, and a commitment to delivering care as you would want for yourself and your loved ones. You will be responsible for assisting in the collection of data for patient assessments, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, and intake/output. You will also assist with patient hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs, while maintaining and advocating for a safe and clean environment. Patient rounding, enhancing knowledge for career development, and embracing teamwork are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, appropriate work experience.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- 1 year of Clinical Care experience; CNA or PCT experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist in collection of data used for assessment of patients' conditions as assigned, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, I&O, etc.
- Assist with the patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs and patient-related tasks.
- Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
- Maintain a clean environment in patient care area.
- Complete patient rounding in accordance with patient assignments and schedule to drive patient satisfaction and safety.
- Enhance knowledge and seek opportunities for career development.
- Embrace teamwork and direction in performance of duties.
