About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate bedside care by assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and personal needs are met throughout their stay. The Patient Care Tech will streamline patient movement by safely guiding individuals through admission, transfer, and discharge processes to create a welcoming, low-stress environment. They will act as a vital link in patient safety by observing physical, mental, and emotional changes and immediately alerting the nursing team to maintain proactive care. Additionally, the role ensures seamless care continuity by accurately documenting patient interactions and vital information in official health records, and maintains a safe, healing environment by sanitizing patient rooms, organizing supplies, and ensuring medical equipment is clean, fully stocked, and ready for immediate use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
