About The Position
The Patient Care Tech works in the Admit Recovery Unit during the day. Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, the role provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. The Patient Care Tech demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Requirements
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.
