About The Position
Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, the Cardiac Procedure Tech provides care to cardiovascular patients. The role demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program.
- One year of patient care experience in a cardiovascular setting, or certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.
- If the one-year experience requirement is not met, CNA certification or completion of a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program is required upon hire.
