Requirements
- Documentation of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program or EMT program, or completion of first block of nursing program or Two (2) years experience as an NA in an acute care hospital setting
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate
- AZ CNA License or Emergency Medical Technician: AZ (EMT:AZ)

Responsibilities
- Conduct hourly rounds on approximately 8 to 10 patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed
- Collaborates with RN in implementation of plan
- Assists patients with activities of daily living according to standards of care and hospital protocol
- Reports significant observed or reported alterations in the patient condition
- Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfer
